Blue Reed has developed new coatings that offers more resistance to the Stainless Steel. Blue Reed will introduce during the ITMA 2015 exhibition in Milan the new anti-abrasive treatments XtraHC and XtraDLC developed by our R&D department, that will be added to the already existing coating treatments such Hard Chrome and DLC coated dents.

Blue Reed is in constant process of investigation and reinvention of the best materials in order to produce the reeds. Convinced of the necessary technical evolution of the looms, we develop processes that extend the life time of the reeds, adapting those to its unique environment and finding the best solutions for each case.
