This special conical ensures a low friction coefficient of the warp yarns on the left or insertion side of the reed, because thanks to the low relief design of the profiled dents, the warp yarns move more easily in the fulling movement of the reed. These conicals can be manufactured in different alloys to suit the requirements of each customer.
