Martensitic stainless steel, particularly used in those reeds that require high resistance to wear caused by yarn abrasion. It is an excellent stainless steel hardened to 1600/1800 N/mm2 in the final process of its production. It conducts heat well and thanks to its high carbon content, reed wear and abrasion is reduced.
